How Am I Getting Billed?
Whenever you select to publish a Social Media Ad created by one of your Brand partners, you must select a Total Spend amount. This is the amount that will be charged directly to a credit card. Lynkem will apply a fee to process the transaction on your behalf when publishing the ad to one of the Ad Placement platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) This fee is listed in the Terms and Conditions listed on our website.
Here are the different ways a credit card charge could occur:
- Billing can be configured to occur using a single Credit Card for all store locations
- Billing can be configured to occur using Credit Cards assigned to each store location
- Billing can be charged to a Brand's credit card in whole or part based on Co-Op funds made available to a retailer
⚠️ IMPORTANT: As of right now, if you are running Google ads, you must have your billing settings set to 'Bill charges for all retailer locations to the credit card added here'
How to Change How you're Billed or Update Card Information
If you use a single card for all locations:
- Navigate to 'Billing' under your name menu
- Click 'Edit' in the bottom corner of the screen
- Enter your card information in the area provided
- Press 'Add Credit Card'
- Then, select 'Bill charges for all retailer locations to the credit card added here'
⚑ NOTE: Entering a card here is essentially the same as entering it under ShopCast > Billing
If you use a different card for each store location:
- Navigate to 'Billing' under your name menu
- Select 'Bill charges to each retailer location's credit card'
- Add a credit card to each store location by navigating to 'Store Locations' > 'Edit'
- Scroll down to the Billing section and in the bottom right corner, hit 'Edit'
- Enter new credit card information
- Click 'Add Credit Card'
- Repeat for each store location
⚑ NOTE: If you would like to end your ShopCast subscription, you may do so by selecting 'Cancel Subscription'.
Using Co-Op Credit and Funds :
If you decide to use the Co-Op Funds available to you, then you will not be charged for any campaigns run with that credit.
If you decide instead to use Co-Op Credit, the retailer's card will be charged, but the amount spent will be tracked as credit to use on invoices from the brand later.
