How Do I Run a Social Media Ad Provided by a Brand?
To start running a Social Media Ad Campaign OR if you just want to see what the ads look like without actually running them, follow these steps!
Click the 'Review Campaign' link located on the bottom of an Ad tile located under the 'Social Media Ads' on the left menu
A popup will appear with information about the campaign. Here, you can preview the ads within the Campaign as they will appear on mobile phones at the top of the popup. The campaign may consist of ads for Facebook and/or Instagram, which you can switch between by clicking on the tabs at the top.
At the bottom left of this pop up, you can select which stores you would like to run this ad campaign by checking the box next to their name.
There are two icons found to the very left of the Location line which represent that store's Facebook and credit card status. If both are green, that store location will be able to run the ad you have chosen
- If the Facebook icon is gray, that means social access to the store's Facebook page is pending/not granted
- If the credit card icon is gray, that means that store's credit card is pending/not entered
To see more about granting social access or entering payment, see How Do I Edit a Store Location's Information?
You may also click on the store location's address to modify it, or change the targeting radius which and will be shown around the location.
At the bottom right of the pop up, you can pick your ad budget. On this screen, Lynkem is making recommendation for you based on the audiences included around the stores that you selected. For each store added, it adjusts to how many customers it will reach in the radius around those locations.
Click budget you feel comfortable with, and it tell you how long that money will last. If you would instead like to enter your own budget, click 'Custom' at the bottom of the page. There, you can enter your own amount (>$50), and it will auto calculate how many people that will now reach. If you would instead like to apply co-op funds or credits, this may be available on certain campaigns.
