Shopping ChannelsHow to enable/disable a channel and configure settings

  1. Navigate to 'ShopCast' on the left menu bar 
  2. Scroll to the Shopping Channels section 
  3. Select the gear icon at the bottom of the channel in which you intend to change settings for 

Google Search Ads

You may enable/disable your Google Search Advertising service by clicking the toggle control on/off.

Your daily budget for all your store locations is also set here. This is the maximum amount that will be spent in your account by Google to serve search ads. The recommended daily budget will be established by you and your account manager based on your objectives.

The number of stores using this channel is available to view. 

Google Local Product Listings

You may enable/disable your Google Local Product Listings service by clicking the toggle control on/off. 

No advertising budget is required for this type of advertising.

Facebook/Instagram Shops Advertising

You may enable/disable your Facebook/Instagram service by clicking the toggle control on/off. 

The number of stores using this channel is available to view. 

 

⚠️  IMPORTANT: Changing Shopping Channel settings at the Retailer level will change the settings for all your Store Locations. If you turn off a channel here, it will negate any settings you have set for individual Store Locations within that channel. 


Inventory Filter Settings 

Inventory Filter settings allow you to control which products will be included when a store's inventory is refreshed on each of the shopping channels you have activated. These settings are applied at the product UPC level.  

  • MSRP must be greater than -  This setting controls which product UPC's will be published daily to the shopping channels by comparing the value you set here against the MSRP listed in the Brands product catalog. You can set this value to 0 if you want to include every product, regardless of the price.
  • and there must have at least {number} item(s) in stock - This setting controls which product UPC's will be published daily to the shopping channels by comparing the value you set here against the actual quantity on hand for that UPC included in the nightly inventory feed from each store.
  • Show Actual Quantity on Hand - This setting determines whether the actual quantity you have on hand for each product UPC will be included in theGoogle Search Ads shopping channel. This setting has no effect on the other shopping channels since these do not reference quantities.

Change Filter Settings

  1. Navigate to  'ShopCast' on the left menu bar 
  2. Scroll to Inventory Filter Settings  
  3. Click in the box for which you would like to change the value for (either minimum MSRP or minimum in stock)
  4. Additionally, you have the option of turning on or off the ability of customers to see the actual quantities of the advertised items in this store front 

Billing 

Here you can change the credit card associated with all Store Locations. 

  1. Navigate to  'ShopCast' on the left menu bar 
  2. Scroll to 'Billing'
  3. Enter your card's information in the space provided (Only this store will be charged to this card)
  4. Press 'Save'

Canceling your ShopCast subscription for your entire Retail chain is also possible in this section. 

  1. Navigate to 'ShopCast' on the left menu bar 
  2. Scroll to 'Billing'
  3. Click 'Cancel Subscription'

Inventory Upload 

The status of your inventory upload linkage is shown in this section. 

  • In order to link your inventory to the BrandSlice system, you must register for a Locally account. 
  • Once your Inventory Upload is activated, you screen should appear like the one below.
