Linking Facebook/Instagram for Use With ShopCast
In order to use Facebook and Instagram in ShopCast, you need to link your business' accounts.
First, login to the admin account for your business Facebook page here. Once logged in, navigate to your business' Facebook page and select 'Settings' on the top right of the menu bar. Under settings, you will then select 'Templates and Tabs' on the left menu.
Scroll down to the bottom of the screen to and click 'Add a tab'. This will bring up a pop up with a few options of where you can add a tab. You will select 'Add a Tab' next to the Shop item.
Next, navigate to the left of the screen and click on 'Page'. This will bring you back to your business' Facebook homepage. A new menu item named 'Shop' can now be seen on the left side of your homepage. Click it and a dialog box will appear for you to Set Up Shop. Select 'Go to Commerce Manager' button at the bottom of the pop up.
Time to set up your shop. Click 'Your Website' for where consumers will be completing their purchases.
Next select the business manager for your business. If you have multiple pages, make sure you select the correct one that represents your business.
On this page you will need to name the account your business name.
Most of the time you should only have one option here. If not, select how you want your business to be viewed.
Select the catalog for this location that you created earlier in business manager.
Review all the information on this page then click 'Create Your Shop'.
Your shop is now setup for Facebook!
